How to Order / Shipping and Delivery Info
Photo Sizes and Prices: Photos are available in the following sizes:
- 16×20 — $75.00 (matted in a 21×25 black mat)
- 11×14 — $40.00 (matted in a 16×20 black mat)
- 8×10 – $25.00 (matted in an 11×14 black mat)
- 5×7 — $12.00 (matted in an 8×10 black mat)
- 4×6 – $3.00 (attached to a blank white greeting card {5×7 folded} w/ a white envelope)
- Colorado Bookmarks — $2.50 each
- Custom Bookmarks — $5.00 each
To eliminate confusion, please refer to the size of the photo instead of the size of the mat when sending inquiries. Mention of photo sizes on this web site or in emails will be treated the same. For example, if you read about an 11×14 size, it is referring to the “11×14 photo in the 16×20 mat” .
How to Order: Due to all of the problems that my customers were experiencing with my automatic ordering system (adding the item to the cart and having the system automatically calculate the shipping), I have decided to eliminate that from the web site. Now, you can just email me and place the order. I will email you back with the exact total. When you are ready to complete your order, you can pay using your credit card. The transaction can be done easily and confidentially over the phone, so you don’t have to mail me a check.
- Email me your order. Include the item numbers, the size of each photo (not the size of the mat unless you want a custom size) and the quantity of each photo. Send email to: marilyn@MarilynBurtonPhotography.com
- If I have any questions, I will send you an email or call you if you include a phone number in your email.
- When I have received your order, I will calculate the total and send you an invoice that includes the shipping charge. I will also let you know how soon the items can be shipped. If you are satisfied with the total and the shipping date, you will need to send me your phone number so I can call you to complete the transaction over the phone.
- When I receive your phone number, I will call you to take your credit card information. Or if more convenient, you can email me your shipping address and credit card information. If so, I will need your name, shipping address, credit card number, credit card expiration date and the CCV code (3-digit code on the back of your credit card).
- As soon as your item is shipped, I will send you tracking informtion if it is available.

Shipping Methods: Smaller packages are usually shipped Priority Mail, as the rates are better and the delivery time is faster than other carriers for 1 to 5 lbs that most of our packages weigh. Small orders of bookmarks will probably be shipped via First Class Mail. Larger orders of bookmarks will be shipped Priority Mail. Oversized packages are usually shipped Parcel Post. For rush delivery there will be an additional cost which I will include on the invoice.
Domestic Delivery Schedule: If the photos you order are in stock, you can expect delivery within 1 to 2 weeks after the order is placed. Most in-stock orders are shipped within 1 to 2 business days. If the photos are not in stock, expect an additional delay of about 1 week. Holiday Delivery - If the photos are in stock, there should be no additional delays. If the photos are not in stock, expect delays due to heavy photo processing schedules during the holiday season. If there are delays, you should plan on an additional week, just to be safe. If you need a rush order, email us with the specifics (exact items ordered, zipcode, and when you need to receive it) and we will answer back with time and price estimates. Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any delays once the packages are in the hands of the courier. We are also not responsible for any damage to the items after the package leaves the courier. Your items will be packaged carefully. If you want to include insurance with your order, there will be a small fee to cover the cost the post office charges.
Insuring your Package: We don’t include insurance routinely because we package the items very carefully and there is very minimal risk of damage. If we included it routinely, it would be reflected in all of the postage rates but most customers decline it. However, we do offer the availability. If you want to include insurance, please let me know so I can include the cost on your invoice. The cost of insurance is based on the amount of the order, and you can decline it after I have told you the cost, but before your credit card is processed. If your package arrives damaged, save damaged photos and the box and packing materials they came in and email us for further instructions.
Local Pickup: If you plan to pick up your order, you can avoid the shipping fee by emailing us with your exact order and we will send you an invoice. You can pay the invoice with the same payment options that are listed above.
International Shipping Delivery Schedule: For Global Priority Mail, please allow 2 to 3 weeks for in-stock photos and 4 to 6 weeks for out of stock photos. Shipments will not be separated. All items ordered will be shipped together.
Additional Fees/Costs: If you ask for customization of any of the photos, sizes or matting there may be additional fees. If so, it will be reflected on your invoice.
